Sandy Rueve is the owner and founder of She Beads.
The Beginning
One night in 1993, while working as an x-ray technician, Michael Jordan discovered Sandy stringing beads in the locker room. He asked her to make a bracelet for him and it hit Sandy that this was the opportunity of a lifetime. This was the start of the He Beads range. Sandy’s entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with her creative instincts has given her the tools for building a thriving company with three distinct lines. Today her company includes SOLO Collection, He Beads and She Beads.
The Charity Bead Collection reflects her enthusiastic support to each cause. “Our purpose is not just to donate the proceeds, but to become an advocate for education, to grow awareness, and connect people with similar experiences.” Sandy says.
